Our work drives positive change through the power of design. In addition, to its values, the institute has developed a series of “Where We Stand” (aia.org ) statements that clarify its position on key issues facing the profession: • Equity, Diversity and Inclusion • Climate Change • Immigration • Infrastructure • Licensure • School Design and Student Safety • Sexual Harassment • Sustainability The AIA also has a long history of requiring that its members adhere to the highest ethical standards. Our Allied Professional and Allied members support our local chapter in a variety of ways. Not only does their annual dues support us financially, but their invaluable contribution of time to serve as committee chairs on our board and host many of our yearly events is the life of our organization.
